India or Bharat is the Destination of the Millennium, a Land of all Seasons where beauty beckons, culture echoes, diversity delights and tradition talks. Those who reach India are greeted with a gracious Namasthe, Namaskaaram, Vanakkam or SatSriAkal denoting warmth, hospitality and respect – a tradition in tune with the country's age-old motto "Athidhi Devo Bhava" where the guest is treated as God.THE name 'India' is derived from the River Indus, the valleys around which were the home of the early settlers. We were taken to the shop on our tour, and ended up buying a beautiful small table top. We were offered discounts the longer we discussed price, although I think they still made a profit in the end
